Modelo de Playboy enfureció a los maoríes con una foto desnuda en un lugar sagrado

Los Maoríes están furiosos con una modelo de playboy que posó desnuda en la cima de la montaña Taranaki, que consideran sagrada.  

La neozelandesa Jaylene Cook, de 25 años, compartió una imagen suya en Instagram, sin más ropa que unos guantes, zapatillas y gorro, mientras miraba al horizonte desde la cima.  

“Me imagino que hay muchos comentarios de gente que dice que hay de malo, a quién le importa. Pero yo también conozco primos y familiares que estarán muy molestos. Lo considerarían irrespetuoso con la montaña”, dijo Dennis Ngawhare, académico maorí.

“Acepto que la gente llegue a la cima, pero pedimos que lo hagan con respeto. Es como si alguien entrara en la Basílica de San Pedro del Vaticano y se hiciera una foto desnuda”, agregó.

La mujer se defendió y dijo que su desnudo fue “natural”. “La foto no es cruda o explícita. Conocemos la historia de la montaña. Fuimos muy respetuosos. Estar desnudo no es algo que se ofensivo, de ninguna manera. Es natural y puro y tiene que ver con la libertad y el empoderamiento”, dijo.
