Perú sigue con el alza en sus cifras y superó la barrera de los cuatro mil fallecidos por Covid-19

Lima es la región más afectada del país ya que concentra el 60% de los contagios.

El Ministerio de Salud de Perú informó que durante las últimas 24 horas se registraron 5.874 casos positivos por Covid-19, llegando a un total 141.779 contagios.

Mientras que la cifra de fallecidos ascendió a los 4.099 luego de sumar 166 decesos en la última jornada.

Asimismo, 8.395 pacientes están hospitalizados, de los cuales 943 se encuentran en UCI con ventilación mecánica, y 59.442 personas han sido dadas de alta.

Lima sigue siendo la región con el mayor número de infectados (87.478), seguido de Callao (9.953), Lambayeque (7.020), Piura (6.942) y Loreto (3.959).

Perú es el segundo país de la región con más contagiados, por detrás de Brasil.
