Brasil se convirtió en el sexto país del mundo con mayor tasa de contagios tras superar los 200 mil casos por Covid-19

Además, un estudio reveló que los fallecimientos podrían llegar a los 90 mil en agosto.

El Ministerio de Salud de Brasil informó que en las últimas 24 horas, el país sudamericano registró 13.944 casos por coronavirus, llegando a los 202.918 infectados.

Mientras que los fallecidos llegaron a los 13.993, luego de sumar 844 nuevas muertes.

Además, según consignó El País, el Instituto para la Métrica y Evaluación de la Salud de la Universidad de Washington reveló que Brasil podría acumular cerca de 90.000 muertes en agosto.

Sao Paulo es el estado con mayor tasa de contagio en la nación (54.286), seguido de Ceará (21.077), Río de Janeiro (19.467), Amazonas (17.181) y Pernambuco (15.588).

Brasil es el sexto mayor foco mundial de contagio por detrás de Estados Unidos, España, Rusia, Reino Unido e Italia.
