Meteorito cayó cerca de Detroit y causó pequeño temblor

Impacto ha causado la caída de un meteorito que iluminó la ciudad de Detroit, Estados Unidos, y causó un pequeño temblor de magnitud 2 en la escala de Richter.

Así lo confirmó el Servicio Geológico de los Estados Unidos (USGS), precisando que el fenómeno se produjo a las 20:09 hora local (22:09 en Chile).

La ubicación de la caída del meteorito fue entre los lagos Eire y Huron, a ocho kilómetros de New Haven, cercana al lago St. Clair y a la frontera con Canadá.

El destello en el cielo fue rápidamente compartido en redes sociales, donde varios de los testigos compartieron sus videos.
